Day 60- Oct. 28, Day 61- Oct. 29 , Day 62- Oct. 30, 2010

Day 60- Oct. 28- Today the weather was very cloudy in the morning so we decided to wait until after lunch to drive into Great Smokey Mountain National Park. This was our 4th visit to the park, the first was in 1981 when we took our DS, so we just went to see the fall colors. At the higher elevations most of the leaves had already fallen but on the way up we drove through a golden canopy thatwas beautiful in the sunlight.

We drove past the Titanic Museum so I was able to get this quick shot of it.

Tonight we went to the Smith Family Dinner Theater for a so-so buffet and a good show put on by 3 talented Smith Family men. There were a wide variety of songs and some comedy but both of us would have preferred just the songs.

Day 61- Oct. 29- Today we went to Dollywood for our second visit. This month Southern Gospel was the feature along with fall decore. The price is high to get into the park but if you go to all of the shows it probably isn't soooo bad. The real killer was the $8 for parking. We managed to spend about 7 hours walking around, having lunch, and seeing some shows. There were various craft people selling and demonstrating. It was a fun day but cold...in the 50s.

Day 62- Oct. 30- Today we had about a 4 hour drive to Nashville's Jellystone Park. Check- in wasn't until 2 pm. and we gained an hour, crossing into the Central Time Zone, on the way so left late morning.
